#19 JOHNNY LOTT Inducted 2000. Johnny’s 20 year foosball career saw him enjoy success as a player, promoter, table designer, Hollywood technical director and author. As a player he won world titles in both singles and doubles and was renowned as man who could play both positions equally well. Lott’s knowledgeable participation helped make the 1980 feature film “Longshot’ into the best movie ever made about the sport of foosball. Johnny was heavily involved in promoting the sport during the 1980’s with both the Coin Sports and Dynamo tours and with the Striker table, which he designed. He co-authored the book “The Complete Book of Foosball” in 1981, helping to teach the game to that era’s future stars. In 1986 he created the Foosball Hall of Fame which was revived in 1996 and continues to this day. |
