How Do I Enter?
Easy - just show up before it starts! Tournament sign-ups close at
8:45pm at most tournaments, and the chart is then quickly drawn up and play begins. If you show up after
8:45pm, you may not be allowed to play in that night's tournament, though you are welcome to play on any table that is not being used for the tournament. Our tournaments have a
$5 entry fee, which gets you in the running to win. Anyone can play - there are no requirements other than the entry fee.

What Can I Win?
The entry fees will make up the payout for the tournament. With five to eleven teams, we normally pay out three places of prize money. Some tournaments have additional cash bonuses as well!

What Is The Format?
Most weekly tournaments are best two out of three games format, with each game played to five points. The tournaments are also normally double elimination, which means you have to lose two matches to be put out.
The most popular format of weekly tournament is the draw your partner. Your name goes into a pool with everyone else in the tournament, and two player teams are randomly selected from that pool. That means that in your first tournament ever, you could draw the best player in the house!

What If I Am Not Any Good?
EVERYONE started off not very good. It is intimidating to play in a tournament for the first time, no matter what the game. However, you will generally find that most foosers are very helpful when you ask them questions. You will be amazed with what you see on the foosball table at a tournament. If you have never seen a tournament, you will see passes and shots that you have never imagined, all done with amazing speed. Don't let that stop you! In a short period of time, you could be one of those people!

Where Do I Play? That's easy! Select Where To Play on the top side of your screen. Everything you need to know about when and where is in there. |
