Title: Pic's of plating that is flaking
Post by: Twitch832 on April 25, 2007, 06:12:00 PM
I bought this cyclone 2 table about 3 month ago. I called valley because my rods where sticking and flaking. I got the new rods and bearings in and put it together. Less then an hour of play the 2 man rod started flaking. Why doesn't valley make better rods are do something about this? Sould I keep call them and getting new rods? Here are some pic's I have took. Anyone knows how to make this stop?

Sorry, but don't count on Valley to stand behind their shoddy workmanship. I bought a blond coin-op in 2000 that not only had flaking 2-rods, but the laminate has separated in at least two places on the cabinet. I ended up hooking up with Charles McIntosh and purchasing my own heat-treated replacements, Valley was just not gonna do anything for me... Your best bet is to purchase with a credit card from now on, so if you can show that Valley ignores its' warranties, the credit card company will reimburse your purchase and chargeback Valley...

PS I see your table is a blond, I thought they stopped that color a long time ago. I'm wondering if you bought a table that has been sitting in the warehouse all this time... and ended up getting the same batch of rods that I did 7 years ago...i wouldn't put it past them...
