Title: Front or back of men
Post by: LenSwitzer on January 07, 2008, 04:54:01 AM
Hi all,

I have just purchased a used Cooper table which I have assembled.  It went together well enough but looking closely at the men I am not sure which side is the front and which is the back.  I cannot tell from the head or body but there is a very small lip or ledge at the very bottom of the foot on one side only.  The lip runs along the bottom of the foot and is small; maybe 1/2 millimeter in size.  The other side of the foot has a slightly rounded corner to it and has no lip.  Would this lip face toward the front or back?  I cannot guess and I thought I would ask.

Thanks,
Len

Do the men attach to the rod with a screw and nut, or with a roll pin.  If they use a screw and nut, there is usually a hexoganal inset for the nut, that side should be the back of the man, the screw head should be toward the front.  If it is a roll pin, I would need to see the man to tell for sure.  I will search the web for some pictures and try to get ack to you asap.

It is a bolt and nut.  The nut should be toward the back, eh.  Thank you very much for your help.
