Title: Are RUBBER FEET over rated?
Post by: redterror on February 06, 2008, 02:40:28 PM
my siblings and I love foosball.  they have a pre-concieved notion that the taBles that have men w/rubber feet are better.  we have never played on a table w/rubber foot men.  how do they play?  is it easier to control the ball?

Not sure what you mean by rubber feet.  Almost all or the foosball figures I have ever set eyes on (and that is ALOT), are made of plastic or metal.  Never saw any rubber ones.  Maybe you are refering to softer plastic.  They would make ball control using pins easier but they would break more often that the hard plastic.  That is why most table have hard plastic or metal men, they break less!

I just posted this on another thread.  You will not go wrong if you buy one of these tables.  They are what we play on in international competitions. http://www.table-soccer.org/partners/ (http://www.table-soccer.org/partners/)

there are men that are made of plastic but have a black rubber strip at the bottom.
