Title: F-5
Post by: foosin joe on March 10, 2008, 08:11:41 AM
My college just got two F-5's, my question is do these tables have counter balanced men? I don't know what it is, but it feels alot different from the one I play on at the bar. I dunno, maybe its just new, In any case, its a sweet deal, unlimited free play, too bad there not much competition at the college.

Counter-balanced men have a weight in the head to balance the man on the rod.  Your table will have a slicker surface and the balls will be slower until all the fuzz wears off.  Fast rods, slow balls and no light, thats what Vegas is all about Baby!

The F-5 has counter-balanced men.  Consequently, you can turn the men horizontally and they will stay there if you let go of the rod (makes goalie wars possible!).
