I just got a F5 coin op, I decided to lock the cabinet. 1 side was tight pushing lock in. the same side will NOT open now. I have tried wd40 inside the lock as well turning the key w/sheer force (bending key). any advice?

Try lifting up and pushing down on the top part of the table.
Sometimes the lock will get into a bind and either pulling up or pushing down while turning the key sometimes will work.
Otherwise, get a pair of pliers and pull the key out. If you end up breaking the key off in the lock, don't worry. Just drill the lock out and replace it. It's a cheap lock and easy to replace.

Yeah it cause the cabinet is twisted. Get someone to lift one end of the table and it will pop right out.

thanks for the advice, I finally got it open. opened up the hole as well. no longer stuck.

RedTerror,
I just got a Tornado Coin-Op from the US Open also. I haven't unpacked it completely because my basement isn't ready for it yet (about one more week). Was it supposed to come with a foosball DVD? Did yours? I have not found one yet, but I am not sure if I was supposed to get one or if it is just buried in the packing.
Thanks,

cool, u from ATL too? did you get a F5 or a marbled table? no it does not come w/a DVD. Charles did give me a bag of balls but sadly I forgot to grab it before leaving (did you get 1?). however there are balls inside the packaging.

No, I'm from New York. I got the Coin-Op Tour Edition (Stainless steel laminate, split cabinet). THe shipping company dropped it off Friday. I also got the packaging kit with 12-15 balls. No ball bag.
I can't unpack it fully and set it up yet, although I'm dying to. We are finishing our basement and I can't set it up until it's all painted, etc. My wife isn't sure where to put it yet. Probably next week.
I was curious about the DVD because my wife really never played and I thought it would be a good intro. for her. No biggie - I can always order one from the internet.
Enjoy,

Are the F-5 coin-op and Tour Edition coin-op the same thing?
-
probably. mine also has the stainless laminate and all the fancy VIFA/IFP/USTS (etc) plates.
