Title: switching rods
Post by: foster978 on June 09, 2008, 11:52:58 AM
so I just got a new table and the setup is backwards, seems to be designed for lefties. I was looking to change the setup to the traditional. does anyone know the best way to switch around the rods. Is is easier to switch around the men on the rod or the rod itself? Help would be much appreciated.

You need to start from scratch.  Remove all the men.  You shouldn't have to remove the handles.
If it's Tornado (which I doubt), be careful to get the proper 3 row in the front and goalie bar.

Depends on the table.   If it is a Tornado with split bearings, you just have to remove the bearings and the Handle and the rod will come out with out removing the men.

Ed, wouldn't the men still be facing left even if the rods are in the right position? ;D
