Title: Oct. is comeing Big event

Oh ya Bow hunting relaxing and fun archery is a great tool to train with , did you know a deep breath befor a shot improves your vision, did you know waiting for the right shot is also important.And a smooth release is the most important thing in a good shot, and the clothes camo need I say more. :D

I shot competitive archery for 25 years. I sold my TS brown top in 1980 and bought a bow. Now I got a table again, a brown marble, but I still have my bows. My elk season starts in a little over 2 weeks and it's been a couple of years since I got one so the freezer is empty. The comparison between the two disciplines is interesting though, the subconscious triggering of the shot is what I notice most. That and training yourself what to think about and what to avoid thinking about.

Im jealous we dont have Elk well not many I would like to get one someday thats all I have watched is elk hunting on tv lately. You cant think to much in the middle of a shot the let it happen effect comes in to play you know like a cat waiting for the right moment to jump and catch a bird he not thinking about it he just reacts..
