Title: How do you get rust off rods on a old table

Anyone know the best way to remove rust from rods?

use a whole bunch of steel wool and WD40, worked for me. There might be a better method out there though.

I just did  that this morning. Steel wool works the best on chrome. I used "0" grade, then some chrome polish, and then some "0000" grade. They look great. I have some yellowing that didn't come out, but all of the rust is gone and the polish is great.

Thanks guys.  I used 0 grade steel wool and WD-40 and it worked great!!!!!

didn't you just get married? seems like she would have already had all the rust knocked off your rod by now... ;D
