In the 70's, the balls must have been a hard rubber compared to the plastic used today as it was easy to "grab" the ball with the bottom of the foot, roll it back and forth and "foos" it. Not sure what the lingo is today. I've just purchased a Harvard table and the balls are a hard plastic, I think. When I try to "grab" the ball it just slips backwards. Any help here?
thanks,
ds
