Bill Wilson Benefit Results

The generous and caring spirit of the foosball community was obvious at The Whiskey Saturday night. Players gathered in a show of support for our friend and fellow fooser Bill Wilson who has been stricken with liver cancer. The benefit saw 34 entries in 2 events and raised $855.00 in cash and a $50.00 gift card.

Many thanks to all who participated. A big thanks to the group that helped bring this event together: The Whiskey, Lee McDonald and Thad Meeks. Thank you for your time and raffle prize donations. And a  special thanks to Tabatha & Chuck Weathers and Billy Ray Thomas for their generous donations.

Mississippi and Louisiana are having their own fund raiser for Bill. Hattiesburg fooser Mark Crosby initiated a challenge between the two states to see who could score the most points. One point is "scored" with every $10.00 donation. The challenge will continue for 2 weeks.  As of this posting, LA was leading 6-5.
