could be a REALLY good deal

here is the only issue and it can be worked through...the Grey Marble had like 3 iterations...read my section on history of the tables

I will play on the newest table (T3000 full meal deal) at Nationals and so I will feel better about rating the tables, but the Grey Marble play quality was equal to the Brown Marble and if you get the right one with heat-treated rods, you are getting a GREAT table and $700 is a very fair deal

I hear the T3000 is considered by many, Tornado’s best “playing” table ever which is saying a ton

I have always liked the Grey Marble and found it hard to believe the newer table could be better

However, consider this for what its worth - I was playing on an almost full-meal deal metal wrap late T2000 sold as at T3000 to our local bar by an unscrupulous distributor this last Friday (which I have done before) and since the warped surface has been fixed I have enjoyed the play…I have having a great night, I felt good, the table felt and played great then late in the night, I went to a friends to play on their Grey Marble (best version) and even after cleaning and lubing the rods, it wasn’t even close…the metal wrap was a much better play and this is before the side-strip and newest man change

Anyway, I am not discouraging you, a Grey Marble for that much, assuming it has all heat-treated rods and not obvious issues, is a great deal…HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Is it the one from Jim R in Orlando? If so, I have played on it and it is a solid table. I say buy it up!!
