Title: Why goalie doesn't have grip?

I've been looking for that and have no answer yet.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Lottagots,

You have to clarify your question.  Do you mean why many goalkeepers don't wrap a grip on the goalkeeper rod's handle?  That's personal preference.  As many, if not more, wrap or have wrapped a grip on ALL four handles.

Or did you mean that on the foosball tables you play, the goalkeeper's rods are left without a wooden or plastic grip on the handle?

Golies dont have a grip because they are usung heros i say that cause im a foward and my goile is my savior most of time

But if your goalkeeper doesn't have a grip or can't "get a grip", doesn't that mean you're losing it? ;)
