Title: Reason for Number of Score Markers on Bonzini
Post by: WillD92 on August 25, 2009, 12:58:31 PM
Why is it that a Bonzini table has 5 red, 3 blue and 2 white markers?  Before ITSF what did people play to in France and in the East Coast?

probably game to 5, win by 2 first to 8 and two time outs

bbtuna is very close!

5 red for game to five
3 blue for win by 2 points to 8
2 white are for the game count (best of 5) only need to mark 2 at most

no big deal but with that last logic you don't need an 8th point :P

So why are they all on one rod?  Do you start them all in the middle and push the white ones out when you win each game?

BBtuna, I agree that the 3rd blue one is not needed.  But by that logic, before the win by 2, why were there 5 score markers on the Tornado?

As to WillD92's question, I think there is a little clip that seperates the white markers form the others, but I am not positive about that.

If there isn't, I have no idea what they were thinking ;D
