Title: Rating players according to skills
Post by: Old Meister on September 09, 2009, 08:06:25 AM
October 23-25th we are having our Oregon State Championships. There is great discussion going on on the nwfoosball.com board as to how to rate the local players. A "1" is a total rookie who knows not to spin but little else while a pro-master is 9 to 10. There are 2 ratings for each player, one as a forward and one as a goalie. the forward rating is felt to be twice as important than the goalie score so the way they are coming up with a final definitive number is to double the forward rating, add it to the goalie rating and divide by 3. At least this is how I understand it. Regardless of how that is determined, what skills do you think should determine a rookie, amateur, semi-pro and master?
