Title: more info on dynamo coin-ops please
Post by: mudfarmer on January 09, 2010, 03:06:40 PM
are they built as good as tornados? i'm just another old fart who played on duesters and TS in the 70's lookin to get back in the game. i'm lookin at a dynamo coin-op for $299. it has a 3-man goalie and green playfield but the cabinet is bright blue. thanks!

What does the playing surface look like? What you will find I think is it plays not at all like a newer Tornado. More like a Shelti. Also what ball comes with it? See if you can post some pics so we can take a look.

scour craigslist adds and look for a used tornado. if you want to get back in the game then why not get a table that your gonna be playing on if you go to any tourneys.  i dont know where you're from but ive see descent storm/storm 2's for 250-300 dollars on craigslist and some older coin opps for 400-600.

yea i'm 1/2way tween OKC and Dallas. i've been monitoring CL and ebay for a month or so. i can get a grey marble tornado delivered for  < $700 but can pickup the dynamo for bid price and $20 gas money.
