Title: Foozi Tables
Post by: snake eyes on January 21, 2010, 03:24:16 PM
Has anyone played on one of these yet? I know they are not mainstream in U.S. Looks like the ball is similar to Garlando or Techball but I can't tell by the ad's.

Based on the pictures, it looks like block feet, which would make pinning the ball difficult, unless the ball is VERY soft.  And as they are only in South Africa currently, we might not get too many first hand accounts of the tables playability.  based on what I have seen in the pictures, I would guess slick playfield, block feet, hard ball.  IF, and that is a big IF, the surface is flat and the table level, you could do tic-tac style shots, and maybe pulls and pushes.  But not a whole lot out of a pinned position.  If you went to one of the Tornado HOFC tournaments where they had the Corona tables, I would guess it plays kind of like those, only with a slighty sturdier cabinet.
