I recently purchased a premier us table but came across an used garlando g 500 for sale which is what i really want!. The only problem I have with the garlando is that the goalie rod has 3 players but really wanted it with only a one player goalie.
Is it possible to convert it from 3 to 1? It does have the ramps in the corner as the 1 player does. Is it a matter of just removing the 2 guys? I say that as if its easy to do but have no clue. I'm new to this so any information will be helpful.
Thanks

after looking at the picture closer I notice the rod in front of the goalie only has 2 players. Is it worth it for me to do this conversion if its possible? How much will it cost me?

can you give us a picture? i have never heard of or seen a Garlando with a 3 man goalie and if the ramps are still there, i would think the men would get stuck on them...anyway, converting them should be easy and cheap since you already have the ramps...you just need the stops that are on a normal Garlando...I will look and see if i can find the pieces you need but it shouldn't be more than a couple bucks per rod

someone may have put the wrong rod on there
it should be
goalie 1 man
goalie 2 man
middle row 5 man
front row 3 man
look here for parts under the heading "Foosball_Table_Spare_Parts" PDF
http://www.garlando.com/
you will either just change the stops or have to get new rods....Hopefully someone at Garlando speaks english and can help you or someone on this sight from Europe who knows Garlando real well

Here's a pic. It's maybe hard to see but if you look in the corners you'll see the white ramps. It seems to me its the same thing I see on the garlando one goalie rod.
How do you remove the players from the rod? From what I remember the players don't have screws in the center of them like the US Premier table unless I just didn't notice them.
Thanks for your help!

Sstincone,
Do the men on the goalie rod spin full circle without hitting the ramps, throughout the entire range? I honestly can't see how it would be possible. My guess is that model table came with the option of either a 1 or 3 goalie setup, and at the factory the weren't paying attention and overlooked which goalie rod to install on that table. It was probably built on a Monday morning, right after a rough weekend!

That table has the wrong goalie rods. They should DEFINITELY have a one man goalie rod. The men cannot be removed, they are molded to the rod. You would need to order 2 goalie rods from a Garlando distributor.

Thanks for the help...sounds easy. If I order the rods do I need to order anything or does it come with all the things I need? Any idea how much this will cost me? Any vendor you might recommend?
