If you're looking to buy a table you might want to check these ones out.  They're starting a tour here in the States and many of the players are welcoming them.

Here's a page that goes into detail looking for a table.  It gives lots of good information about the different makes of the T2000 and also how to identify the good Merkel rods (second page).
