Jessie says he wants to issue a challange, he'll put up say 600$ to open doubles, 400$ to singles , none of the luck stuff like draws. He challenges anyone to come beat him, from anywhere. Pretty darn gutsy of him I think. Never seen a challenge like this before up here anyway. Plus if there are entry fees that will just add to the pot.  Maybe some of us players will come back out of retirement and practice to put this kid in his place? It will be interesting to see who steps up to the challenge and who stays home and hides. I personally don't think he has what it takes to do battle with some of the five manbars of the lower 48 players.     Tony

If he wants to play Saturday August 21st, I would be up for the challenge   8)

Ha ha!  Sounds awesome.  Not sure my bones will be up for it, but we'll see.  Of course, I'm not really into Open Singles, and I doubt I'll be chosen to be a partner for Open Doubles.  Too bad he's not doing Goalie Wars.

No real need to push for the tournament.  But being able to get in a few games and have a couple of drinks Saturday night would be great!

Let's see.  That's $1000 total if I win doubles and singles.  That will just about cover airfair for me and a partner (I know a pro-master that would be interested).  Jesse could just buy me a ticket.  I'll come by myself and let him win.

Kevin, Russ, Tony, Don - Are you guys going to let Jesse get away with this?

Iam seriously considering practiceing hitting a little ball around. With everyone saying tiger is all washed up, I need to prove them wrong.  Tony the tiger that is!!!

Good luck at the worlds. If you do good there you can do good anywhere. It's hard to play when everything is slightly blurry now. Have to practice for other hobbies which makes my knukles hurt and my hands numb. Next year I might practice enough to give you a run for the money.  Mr t
