I'm trying to get a table on behalf of my high school. We need a coin op table but I found a tornado twister II for 500 and I was wondering if it were easier to buy this one and adapt it so it is coin op? If so how would I do it?

Twister is a piece of **ap. The sidewalls are not nearly as thick as a coin-op so you will see major differences in the play. Also twister's have really low grade rod bearings, and probly the most noticeable is the weight of the table. I would hold out,,, $500?? wouldn't give $100 for a twister.

Also you can't make a twister into a coin-op. It's made for home use. No internal components to modify it.
Save your $$ I see brown marble coin-op's all over where I live for $300-$400.

Be patient. Check your closest craigslist. Here's an example.

There's only one picture so you can't get a real sense of condition. This is just to show you what is out there. Don't waste your time converting the twister.
