Title: do you to participate in a leauge first

Hi fellow foos players. Do you need to participate in a league before
you can play in any tournaments.

I don't think so. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but I'm sure i'm not. :D

You need to play in a league to play in the VIFA tournament at Las Vegas.  But the VIFA tournament is held alongside the tour kickoff, which you do _not_ need to play in a league to participate in.

Essentially, playing in a league lets you play in some extra league-style events at one of the majors.  Otherwise it's not required.  Some other tournaments might have a league DYP or something but the vast majority of events are open to all.
