Title: flaking rods

I have rods off Cyclone II that are flaking.  Has anyone ever had rods re-chromed?  They are straight.  My first thought is it might not be cost effective but that is just a guess.

I had the same problem on a home model. I talked to the manufacturer and they sent me new rods under the warranty.

Might be worth sending them an email..
