New to foosball on a serious level. I have always had a cheaper table but decided it was time to upgrade. Found this and drove 45 minutes to pick it up. Paid 500 for it. Seller bought it used over 10 years ago and its been mostly unused in a bar since then. The two men rods are slightly bent (not enough to seriously affect my level of play) but it came w/ one replacement rod. some wobble in the rods so it needs new bearing halves (already ordered) and came w/ 13 red tornado balls. What exactly do i have here and did i do ok on price?

Her is an excerpt from another post by bbtuna(i don’t agree with all his opinions but he describes tables well) :
"Brown Marble - Brown Marble 1983 - 1997 - stopped using the metal feet about 1988 but continued to sell them as parts until 1996 $350-$450
oldest versions have the large metal feet and are considered the most (some debate now with the newest complete change T3000) solid consistent of all the tables
Most common have the current smaller plastic foot - I am not aware of any other substantial difference between this and the large foot except the feet...this was my favorite table but the new T3000 is very close in playability but considering the age and time "in the field" the Brwn Mrbl is still the best table Tornado has made but if the T3000 stands the test of time, it will be a toss up on which is best and the decision will be which play style you prefer
so, if you are looking for an inexpensive used table, this is your best bet...wide swing in quality because of how long they have been out there so this requires patients and careful shopping"
As for the pricing if the table is as good as the pics look I would not lose any sleep over paying $500

I already bought it for 500 about three weeks ago.

I think you did ok but I'd make them take the Ohio State banner back. Seriously, though, the brown marble was the best built Tornado table. Take care of it and your kids can pass it on to their grandkids. Start practicing and show up at any local tournaments you can find. You can learn a lot from tournament players and become part of the foos family.

That's a nice looking Brown Marble. You did a good job. I love the yellow retro score pegs holder. Some new handles and that table is ready to go!!!!
