Title: Question on Sportcraft bearings?
Post by: Pony on October 19, 2012, 09:32:13 PM
I realize this should probably go in the "General Questions" section of the forum, but that area doesn't seem nearly as active as this one.

We have a Sportcraft model #35057DP Foosball table that has been in the family for a while, and recently discovered the Chapter 7 liquidation that Sportcraft went through. I know this has probably been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer.

Is there ANYWHERE to buy the replacement bearings/bushings for this table? If there is absolutely no chance of finding some parts in a warehouse somewhere, what's your best suggestion? Any DIY tips or parts that will substitute?

Thanks.

Probably not the answer you want to hear, but I would just get a better foosball table, man. It's not really worth any money to try to maintain that thing.

You can get a used Tornado coin-op for $350-$500 if you keep your eyes open. Used Tornado home models can be found for $150-$250, pick one of those up and you won't be sorry. And you'll have a large community of players and expertise to draw from.

Thanks for the advice, Free_Soil. I might do exactly that (used Tornado home version).
