Title: What kind of silicone for Rods?
Post by: furfeet26 on April 30, 2013, 12:58:20 PM
Can I use any silicone for my rods? Or does it have to be special "foosball" silicone

Thanks for any help!

All silicone lube is not equal.....I recommend just purchasing some from a foos site like this one.

Depends on your type of table. Does your table have telescopic rods, or do the rods run through bearings and stick out of the table?

If you can find some food grade silicone, it doesn't have the heavy petroleum base and is easier on the bearings I believe. I could be wrong but that's what I've been told. I was lucky, got a big can from work..lol
