Title: Need some advice on a Rene Pierre
Post by: Jtrizzy on October 02, 2013, 08:33:46 PM
Just picked up a Rene Pierre champion off Craigs List for $90.  It's in great condition, but here's the catch...no legs.  I haven't been able to find replacements online, so my thought was just get some custom made.  If anyone knows of a site to buy them that would be even better.

I suspect the cost of the legs plus shipping from France would be high. Those legs look pretty simple and I imagine someone with a table saw (or a skilsaw and a straightedge) could make replacements in about an hour, if they had the dimensions.

Have you found legs yet, and/or are keeping the table?

No luck on the legs.  At this point I'd just as soon sell it...it'll probably cost a ton to get legs custom built for it, and it's taking up more space than I'd like.

Jtrizzy, I also live in NC. Can you give me a call re: your table with no legs when convenient please?

If you can measure the distance from bolt hole to bolt hole on the RP.
Let's see if they copied the Bonzini measurements. If so, I've got spare legs for sell.
The Bonzini leg bolt is 10mm in diameter with a 17mm head.
