Title: What's it worth...?
Post by: The_Hun on January 25, 2014, 08:51:58 AM
I found a gentleman selling a brand new in box "tournament soccer - the million dollar game" foosball table not even assembled yet. I was wondering what you guys think its worth and how well does the table play?

Does the table have a blacktop playing field?

I wouldn't waste my time on the new TS tables. Although I love Tournament Soccer (pre '81), the new tables are nowhere close to the originals from the 70's.  If you can get it for $50 and dont plan on ever playing serious foosball, it might work.  Rumor has it the blacktops are infamous for being warped. :-\  If you like TS, keep looking on CL and dont be afraid to drive a little.  There are heavy duty TS tables popping up often.
Also, Warrior tables are great quality. Reasonably priced, too.
Good luck, wish you well.

Good morning The_Hun,

I would be really careful as Foosballer2013 stated, I have also heard that the second generation "Blackies" playing fields were almost always warped.  Be aware and pay accordingly.
