I don't know much about them, but would Like good quality, like I used to play in the pubs in Britain. Not some cheap toy store stuff.
Do any of these look good for the money?
Thanks so much in advance for your help!

If you're in the Minneapolis area, there are a couple of people that might be able to help hook you up with a table. Check out www.minnesotafoosball.com

OF all the cheap ones, which would you buy? I think I might start with a $100 or under machine until my kids show me they love it.
there was this one too.

Please help a brutha out. The TS, the dynmo, or the shelti??
-
At those prices, you're not hurting yourself with any of the three. If you decide to later get serious about tournament foosball, I would think the TS would be easier to sell.
I never cared for the brown top dynamo. It didn't play like a TS and didn't play like the classic dynamo. I think they were trying to appease the TS crowd that had just been abandoned.
The Shelti is probably the closest to playing like a Tornado, but it's slower.
-
I bought the TS. It is a little dinged up in the outside but the playing surface is perfect. Seems to play well--but a little slow maybe. If it gets used a lot I might upgrade. I hear the one I got might be easy to sell again and that the brown top is desirable.
Do I need any wax or anything on the poles? A couple have some very slight rust on the chrome so I thought about using chrome polish.
-
Great buy! To clean up rusty chrome try using aluminum foil and a little water. I describe the technique here http://foosball.com/forum/index.php?topic=5058.msg22846#msg22846 (http://foosball.com/forum/index.php?topic=5058.msg22846#msg22846). A drop or two of silicone on the rods will make them slide more easily.
