Title: far side pull shot
Post by: jaybern on July 10, 2006, 10:22:13 PM
anyone ever see a pull shot from the far man?  I ran into a player that could shoot it unraceable to all holes..He would pull it around both my men and angle it into the far hole with amazing acuracy. He also had a pull kick to change up with, but the pull was so fast it was hard to tell the difference between the two.  I watched him shoot it on some very good tournament level players and it took them a while to realize it was a pull and not a pull kick.  :o

Yeah, the 3rd man pull is a pretty common shot in pick-up games.  You can get a lot of angles on it all across the goal and mix it up with a dink or a pull-kick once in a while.  If you're trying to work on spraying/squaring the ball (esp. for shooting out of goal) it might be worth messing around with.
