Title: Bonzini locations?
Post by: crazy8 on January 14, 2025, 05:12:46 PM
Hello, from a Tornado player contemplating retirement,
If I end up in Myrtle Beach, what some locations where there’s a table?  Is there a list.  Anything +/- two hours seems reasonable.
Thank you,
Paul

Afternoon,

I slip into this forum from time to time and saw your post.  I found out like you, if you're along the SC/NC/Virginia coast, you're in Bonzini country....

There is a group called PeeDee Foosball on Facebook that used to play regularly during the week at Barfield's Bar & Grille.  Doozy Rowell would be the person to reach out to.  I think they have a couple of other venues they play at:  Borgata Surfside and more recently Wednesday nights at Player 1 UP at 3264 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet.  All three would be within 15 minutes of the MB area.

I would start via Facebook and go from there.  There are some Tornado players and tables in the area as well, but it is Bonzini heavy for the most part.

Enjoy,

Dan B.

I appreciate the passion in your argument about stricter coaching methods improving young players' skills. However, I feel that fostering a more supportive and patient environment might encourage long-term engagement and sportsmanship. While discipline is important, the balance between structure and encouragement should not be overlooked. Otherwise, we risk creating negative experiences that could be interpreted as bad parenting (https://badparentingame.com/) in youth sports. What are your thoughts on that balance?
