If your in Texas there is probably foosball near you. Houston, Dallas and Austin. Some in Corpus, El Paso and San Antonio too.

I'm located in Austin, TX.   My T2000 has been collecting dust for about 2 yrs now.  Today I finally got some gym workout buddies to come foos on the T2000 for about 30 minutes.  After my buddies left, I found myself hopped up on adrenaline and itching to play some more.  I'm hoping that our informal gathering will prove as addictive for my friends as it is for me.  If not, I may stop playing for a while. . .  My wife has wanted to replace the T2000 with a treadmill since it was purchased. LOL

Even at my best, which was about 2yrs ago, I'd rate myself as a low- mid rookie.  I'd like to get better, but need a good consistent group of people to play/practice with.  Practicing alone at home gets boring quickly unless there is some sort of competition.  Speaking of which, I have competed in one tournament - the Super Doubles (Austin, TX), back in 2002.  Yes, I got my ass whipped.  LOL

I've been to Bufallo Billiards once to watch a tournament, but have never competed there.  Hopefully I can get some of my friends addicted to foosball and then we can start competing at the local level.  I enjoy playing both Singles and with a partner too.

Regards,

jrad

Foosball app called "foos" available free in the android market here https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sketchyproductions.foos (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sketchyproductions.foos)

The application is by Anovative apps, constantly adding more tournaments so eventually no mater where you are a quick glance at the foos app and you'll know where and when to play!
