Hey everyone. I have a question on how to unbend my rods. I just put new men on my rods that are counter ballanced, which is awesome, but the rods that are bent seem to settle in one place most of the time. Any advice on how to straighten them out? Thanks

just be careful about it, there's no 'trick' to it..... kinda like an 'art'

pull the rod all the way out towards you ,, turn rod slowly to study where the bend is ,stop turning when the rod is oriented where the handle end is curved upwards ,,now move the rod back inward and stop on where the middle of the bend is, setting it just inside the bearing ,,now bend downwards a little pressure to start with ,,,turn rod to check straightness ,,,if needs more bending ,,repeat ..apply only light pressure in several attempts ,just dont bend it in one big attempt
DONT BEND too much in one attempt ,if you end up making it an "S" curve ,,you may have to replace the rod ,its tougher trying to get it back straight from an "S" shape and you run the risk of stressing the bent area where it may break prematurely with more use
after practicing this several times ,youll develop a "skill" for making good straight rods out of any bends.... :) ,good luck

Folks, I have another question. My table is rather cheap, but I've upgraded the men, and balls, and it plays really nicely (close to a tornado). One thing I'm not sure how to deal with is how my rods and bearings are loose. Basically, if you lift the rod, it will wiggle a little inside the bearing. I'm guessing it's just not a tight fit, but I don't know why they would make them fit so loosely in the bearings. Does anyone know what I could do to get a tighter fit like on a Tornado table?
