Looking at a friend's old coin-op Tornado and thinking about buying it. It's got a single goalie and needs a few replacement parts. Should I consider it or look for a newer model. He wants $250.
Thanks

If it's complete and it all works, that's a bargin. Is it a glass surface? What type of center emblem? What year? Serial #? What brand of mech? How many coins to vend a game? What style of men?

Don't have much on it yet but it's got a 1979 vending tax sticker on it so it's pretty old. Anybody know about parts availability for mid 70's Tornados?

Try 1-800-627-8888 for parts. Is it a tempered glass playfield and what is the emblem?

picked it up today
model T-5 serial #1104
it takes a single quarter
glass top
needs a lot of TLC but is essentially complete
coming up on 15000 games according to the counter!

Right on! You have got yourself a great old table. One thing about tempered glass playfields is they never warp and clean up with Windex or rubbing alcohol. Muller has parts that should work. 1-800-627-8888, get a free catalouge or go online. I know of one guy that took out the corner ramps and added the two extra guys to the goalie bars to modernize to the thirteen man teams. Either way you are in for some fun!
