Folks, I bought some Tornado foosballs (maybe they're the "economy balls") online. They're urethane balls, and they were pretty awesome at first. I've since put a lot of chips and dings in them over the course of 3 weeks. It seems strange for them to get that kind of wear and tear, that easily. Did I buy the wrong balls? They shouldn't get like this, should they? Maybe it's my foosball men. I bought Carrom foosball men, which resemble Tornado men, are counter-balanced, but were a fraction of the price.

the corners around the goals are sharp? Possibly. I'm playing on a generic table (something like a Harvard or Sportscraft).
