Title: 2008 NC State Foos Week
Post by: Alan Cribbs on September 30, 2008, 12:33:11 AM
Just a little update.

The truck and trailer were loaded today for the trip to Wilmington. We will kick-off the tournament with a Captain's Choice golf outing at Castle Bay Country Club in Hampstead, NC on Thursday October 2nd.. The field is limited to 18 teams and I do believe there is room for a couple of more. So if you are interested in the golf action, contact Steve at Breaktime for a spot. This event will be hosted by Breaktime, Red Bull, Miller Lite, and Cribbs Inc. There will be lots of prizes, food, beverages and surprises. So remember, shot gun start at 1:00 pm followed by a buffet for all the players afterwards. Entry fee is $75.00 per man and includes cart, green fees, range balls, goody swag bag, and food.

With corporate donations, we have exceeded our $1000.00 goal to the Brigade Boys and Girls Club before calling our first match. Great job Bonzini U.S.A. players. We still need table sponsors to help offset the tournament operation cost. So if you have a sponsor in mind, download the form off of www.bonziniusa.com and fill out the info. With a sponsor, you recieve a free or reduced players package upon arrival.

My schedule looks pretty much like this:

Oct. 1st          Arrive for tournament room set-up.
Radio interveiw with 103.7 "The Bone" on the evening show
Oct 2nd          Visit Brigade Boys and Girls Club for the Right Decision Right Now presentation
Evaluate foosball table conditions and list supplies needed for repair
Head to Castle Bay for the golf adventure
Return to tournament room for table cleaning and levelling
                     Possible local DYP
Oct 3rd           Shoot TV spot with local station about weekend event
                     Begin registration at 5:00pm

Drive carefully and we'll see you there.

Alan
