Title: NC State Warm-up Raleigh, NC
Post by: Alan Cribbs on September 25, 2009, 11:27:36 AM
There will be a small warm-up event for the upcoming NC State Foosball Championships this Saturday at The Alley.

Review flyer at:
http://www.raleighfoosball.com/flyers/warmup_event.pdf
The Alley is Raleigh's newest 2 table Bonzini location. Itr is located directly accross from the NC State campus. It appears to be a great location to get the kids started playing and competing in foosball events.

The only reason that I mention this small event is that appears most of the top players will be there.
Bruce Nardoci
Larry Crowder
Fuji Alberts
Jim Parris
A crew from SC
Myself- I've been practicing ;D
and about 25 others.

Alan,

Well, Kaley delivered her second baby on Thursday and Michele will be down there Mon-Weds, then Sat-Mon to help out as the hubby has to work. This means I've got my 2 rug rats to watch. I tried to tell Kaley to hold it in for another 10 days, but she never listens to anything I say! LOL.

Sorry............................Tyler

Hello Alan, Tyler and Pat

I wish I could give a firm commitment to this one.  It will be a very last minute decision on whether I make it down  as I'm trying to recruit a sucker...I mean driving companion to split the driving with.  (It's only about 850 miles each way).

I'll keep you posted

Todd

Todd,

What's up?????
I'm heading out tomorrow and will start set-up on Wednesday.
Lots of players will be there Thursday night for some foosball warm-up action.
We've got about 12 from the AQBB heading down and about 18 from SC at last count.
The Raleigh crew may bring about 8 and I hear the Wilmington local are gearing up also.
Should be a good turnout.

Any chance you could send me his e-mail address or Ph number?

I played with him some when we were in France, and we seemed to mesh pretty well.

Oh well

It's now Thursday and I am no closer to NC.  Looks like I won't be making it.  Best of luck to you all and have a great tourney.

Todd in Toronto (regretably)

Pat,

Try the Powerkick group to contact Bruce.
I've been in Wilmington since Tuesday.
Just got to log on.

Todd,
Sorry you cannot make it.
Plan on next year if possible.
