Title: Storm II playfield replacement
Post by: 303fooser on February 16, 2010, 03:30:25 PM
I'm the proud new owner of a beautiful storm II table.  Since that day I've been lurking these forums getting all kinds of good advice and tips. This is a great forum btw!

The one issue I have with the table is that there is a small bump under the laminate directly under the yellow 3man.  Its not a huge lump but it does slightly effect shot positioning and such.  It also is wide enough that the ball will roll to the black two man or back to the yellow three man on its own.  The question I have; is it advisable to take the playing surface off and try to real lam the play field onto the mdf below or should I order a new surface from tornado.  Its a little pricy with freight so I'm trying to avoid that if possible.   Are there better solutions?
