I've been noticing a lot of activity on Bonzini tables lately. I have heard of at least 4 or 5 that have changed hands, which also includes myself...and here are some currently that are for sale:

rapidsphare:
My French is very limited, but the book sounds very interesting...I didn't see where to click to see the book's back cover.
Also here is another Bonzini's for sale:
Not sure why this person is asking for more than what a new one would cost:
http://winstonsalem.craigslist.org/tag/2071059238.html
The one listed above in the Norfolk/Outer Banks/Southern Shores area, "coincidentally" there was a B90 for sale for $950 in that area 2 months ago and that one is listed for much more.
-
I've only seen a few Bonzini B90's sell in the $500 range (most are in the $750+ range), so you better act fast:

It looks like the European version with the ball return on the left side...man I wish I lived out East, I would so buy this table!!!

Jinhopark,
You are correct to wonder why that rustic B-90 is so overpriced. New, $2500 sounds about right, give or take a little, but how he ended up spending $3200 to get that one has me scratching my head. I know the rustic models (B-90s and B-60s) run a little more than the natural finish and Alan typically imports a lot more of the natural styles, but $3200 is nuts, if that's what he really paid...hmmmm...
Take care.............................Tyler

The $3,200 from Sportsman Supply in WS is from a bankrupt dealer that owes me $5,800.00. In his quest to save his business he chose to rip off the general public. Our product was in his store on consignment.
Brunswick lost $125,000.00 according to court docuements.
I feel sorry for the customer in WS. They could have bought it from me directly and saved over $900.00.

It's hard to tell what the overall condition of the table is...but it looks to be in decent shape.
-
I can't believe it only sold for $405!

Not sure what's happening.
I got a container in 2 weeks ago and only have 11 tables for sell out of it.
We only have 2 tournament tables out of the 8 left in storage.
Looks like the NC State will be held on 8 or 9 new B-90's.
We'll try to get them seasoned before the tournament.
Getting ready to reorder another container.
If you see a deal jump on it. The Euro is at $1.40 at the moment and the manufaturer just announced a price increase coming up soon.
-
I tried to jump on the Wisconsin Bonzini deal. Dangit, it has been sold! Sold it to some guy named Tony out of Milwaukee. Somebody is going to get even better on the Bonzini table REAL SOON!
Alan,
Tony may need to speak with you about getting the sides of the men shaved flat. He is picking up the table today (I think).
I suggested that he should get in touch with you about the feet!
Pat
-
When you say "Tony", do you mean Spredeman? I was sort of hoping the table would stay in the midwest...you guys are hording them all for yourselves out there, LOL!
I wonder how much this one sold for?
http://offthewallantiques.1stdibs.com/store/furniture_item_detail.php?id=262579
Reminds me, Alan I've got to get the men on both my tables sent off to you...and order some replacement parts. Also for the life of me I can't seem to find the picture, but I recall seeing a double floor lamp that illuminated 2 Bonzini tables at the same time...wish I could find the pic and find out where they bought that lamp so I can get lighting over both my B60's. If anyone knows what I am talking about please let me know where to get that lamp... THANKS!
-
Tony who?
Jinho,
I can do the foot mod whenever you want.
Just get them in the mail.
AC
-
Alan,
The Tony would be Mr. Spredeman. He picked up the table yesterday!
Pat
-
Pat,
He gave me a call yesterday. I'll fix him up right.
He said the table was mint.

Jinhopark,
Thanks for keeping an eye out for Bonzinis on sale. The middle one listed above (SC) states it's a B-90 although the more expensive B-60 coin-op is pictured. If anyone is interested in that listing, make sure you are getting what you think you are getting! At $1695 it's a good price for a B-90 and a GREAT price for a B-60.

Wonder what you zini guys think of the new ITSF Fireball (tour model)... any show up round there yet? Is it just another Tornado clone to you guys?
-
I'm a Bonzini guy and I own a Fireball. Love my Fireball, but it's no Bonzini. It's very similar to Tornado in play, but the feel is different in toeing the ball, especially on the back pin. They never came out with an official ball, and if they did, one which would have more grip, then Fireball could enjoy some play similar to Bonzini. Unfortunately, Fireball have been using Tornado balls in all of their tournaments, so Fireball will have difficulties separating themselves from being just Tornado. I hope they come out with a ball with a little bit of grip, grippy on the table, but not so much on the toe. Again, I love my Fireball, just not happy with the ball.

Tyler:
I actually think it's a B60 misslisted as a B90, because I wrote to the vendor/seller and asked him if those are actual pics of the table...and if it was then he had a B60 NOT a B90. S/he only replied that it was the actual picture of the table, but did not correct the listing. There are probably more people looking for the B90 Vs. the B60, which is maybe why s/he is not changing the listing.
Anderson:
Not to get too far off topic...but I was at Spredeman's Fireball tournament in Milwaukee last year and they did not use a Tornado ball there, I think it was yellow in color? Possibly a Warrior ball? In any event, I don't see why Fireball doesn't use a Warrior or Warrior like ball...slightly softer, grippier and in my mind was the only thing worthwhile on the warrior table. I'm just waiting to see a final release of a Fireball coin-op...
-
I need to get my hands on a warrior ball then and try it out. I've actually found myself loving the old raw cork ball(no dye, no paint), but it needs to be a heavier version. If only the could take a heavier lead ball, the size of a marble, and then wrap in cork. I think it would be AMAZING!
-
Jinhopark,
B-60 is what is pictured - you are making the same point as me!

I thought that was what you were saying, because I did list it as a B60 and not a B90...I just wanted to further clarify that that listing did not use recycled or stock photos from somewhere else, which if you are familiar with fleaBay some sellers will typically do from time to time. I hope these tables somehow make it to a home in the midwest somewhere.
If anyone needs help finding a freight place to ship these items then let me know. If the seller is willing to palletize and drop them off to a shipping terminal and you are willing to pick the table up from a shipping terminal, then these tables can be shipped relatively inexpensively...this obviously depends on the shipping distance, and another caveat (unless you have a new table in it's original crate) you will only have $100-$400 of shipping insurnace. Provided you are ok with these terms you can typically have a table shipped for like $150-$300, again depending on distance.

I have a 1973 B-60 Bonzini table I just finished refinishing. Alan and his wife were a huge help in getting me parts. I love refinishing tables and wish Rene Pierre parts were easier to come by. All of the men were hand panted to match the 1970 World Cup Final - Italy vs. Brazil. Table plays nicely for the age. I am getting started on a Rene Pierre table my father found in a barn in NC so I am up in the air on selling my beautiful vintage Bonzini table. The men match the players from their respective teams....even have Pele. I will e-mail pics (or post them here) if I can figure out how to do this. I live in Northern Virginia.
