Title: The new Squeeze Kick Shot
Post by: FoosTrain on July 04, 2015, 12:26:38 AM
Here is a new shot.  It will not be your bread an butter, but its more than a novelty shot, and your opponent will never see it coming.

Hate to disappoint you, but these have been around since at least the early 70's.  The banks and angles were even more effective with cork balls.  The kicks were not because the men were smaller and had a smaller target but you could do a nasty masse from the same position thus giving you 3 options from the same position.  Foosball was the most fun then.  Then the tournaments got serious and people went to only the highest percentage shots.  It went from fun to work. :'(

I did a couple of the squeeze banks in a local tournament a couple of months ago. 8)

Dang!  I re-invented the wheel.  I had seen squeeze banks, but never a squeeze kick. Thanks for the history lesson.

It would be fun to add a tournament rule that only allowed one point per shot type.  That would bring the variety back.
