Title: Snake shot and not using wrist on handle video.

I was watching this video on Youtube and noticed two of the guys did the snake shot with a somewhat normal grip.

Anyone know if this is due to the type of table and why they would use this grip?
I thought it was interesting.

Neither are shooting a snake/rollover. It's a standard front pin.

Looks like they are using a front pin shot.  They do not actually roll the bar over to strike the ball.  That is why they do not put their wrist on the bar to shoot.   Front pinning is not done that much on Tornado tables.  On other tables front pinning is a lot more popular.
