Title: Carrom Signature Table needs new men

Hi All,
New to the site so thank you in advance for your help.
I have a Carrom Signature table that is a decent table for me but I'm not happy with the plastic players. The ball control and shot control is not very good.
Currently it has the low end painted players (men) I would really like to improve the "playability" of this table. To do that, would new players (balanced) make a big difference?

If so, what should I look for and where is a good place to purchase?

I have the solid yellow and black Carrom guys on a table i built. They suck compared to tornado guys which wont fit on your 5/8" rod. I think any bolted guy will suck and you need a pinned guy. I think the only decent guy that is 5/8" and pinned is Shelti but theyre expensive.
