Title: Champion Rene Pierre rod replacement?
Post by: Hokiejoe on September 25, 2020, 10:57:21 PM
Hello, new here to the forum! I have an older Champion Rene Pierre table, and after years of abuse by some nephews and such, I have a few bent rods making the push and pull action very hard. I assume straightening them out is out of the question. Where can I find replacement rods? It looks like the men are glued on as I do not see any screws, so might have to buy player specific rods if available. Thanks for any help!

I googled "Rene Pierre rods". This comes up, an online store that sells Rene Pierre rods.

Depending on the age of the table, be careful ordering from that link. RP used 15mm rods on older tables and then transitioned to 14mm. No idea when but I would make sure you know which rods you have before ordering, as those parts are seriously expensive.

Thanks to both of you!
