I can't find it anymore and not sure where I saw it, but I thought someone had posted a review indicating that the new yellow Tornado men are not an exact match, color-wise, to the older yellow Tornado men. They never said anything about the black men, only the yellow.
Just curious if anyone can confirm or deny any color issues between the older and newer Tornado men (yellow or black).
I need to replace one of my older yellow guys but I'm also pretty OCD as well. I'd rather get by on the cheap side of things and just buy a single guy vs a whole new set, but if the color between the older and newer men is off it's going to bug me every time I play and it's worth my sanity to just replace all of them so they at least visually match.
For reference, I'm just a novice, at best. I know the new men have better grip and all that, but this is a table for the family and myself to spend quality time together. I doubt any of us will build up enough skill for the grip to make any difference in our gameplay one way or another, so this question is purely marketed as trying to get away as cheap as possible while still having a table that visually matches to satisfy my OCD issues. I know, I have issues! lol.

Don't think you will notice the color difference or play. I would purchase 2 yellow men for the 2 rod so you have a spare. Depending on how much your family plays, you may become more serious once you start losing to your kids. Lol! You may sell and invest in a used coin op version cause it's heavier and feels more solid. I play every day with my teenage kids on a T3000 coin op.

The older men tend to be a different color due to age and dirtiness. If you clean them rally well you can't really tell the difference between old and new men.
