Title: Rene Pierre Foosball Table Serial Number

I have acquired an old Rene Pierre Foosball Table. Great table. I call it The Beast. It has a blue top, 15mm rods, and a single drop in the machine quarter slot. I am interested in the the serial number though. It is hand stamped on the wood on the right side @ 10088    My question: is that a low number for USA?  Has anyone ever kept track of the serial numbers?  I am asking because my wife wants me to get rid of it and when I tell her I think it’s an early model, she says prove it.

If it had 15mm rods it definitely older. Probably 70's or 80's. Personally, I know nothing about the serial numbers. Maybe someone else on here knows.
