I find it distracting if my opponent, once they get the ball on the 3 bar, remove both hands from the handles and then, with their two hands tighten the bushing on the 3, then regrip, wait a second, then shoot. How do you guys feel? If you were a ref and I mentioned it would you call it a distraction? Would you have no choice but to call the distraction under the “must not remove both hands and reach away or down” rule? What about if they only use one hand? I don’t like them touching the table with a live ball, but depending on what you guys think I’d be willing to let it go.
