Yes sir.

Hey man, I just wanted to say that you are correct. As of right now I have only found men that are 2 1/2 inches from the rod to the botton of the foot.

So that is 1/4 shorter than what I have now.

Any other suggestions?

these guys will continue to help as they can but for the future, this is one of the reasons you stick with the more well known names even if you have no interest in tournament play...true with many other things besides foosball table but esepcially with them since there are so many parts which need to be maintained or replaced...

hopefully you got it for next to nothing but either way, you may want to consider looking for a good table used you know you can get parts on any time you need them

glad to see your interest, just something to think about in the future, I hope you can find the replacements you are looking for

I'm sure you are correct and thanks for anyone that has helped.

I was looking a used table that I could play around on. I do not need a "well know brand" right now because im new to the game and I didn't want to spend $400 plus.

Also, out of all the tables in my price range I thought this was more of a well know table.
At least I could find some info about it.

dankfoot, where are you located.  Maybe we could find some players that might be willing to adopt you while you're on training wheels.

Don't spend too much trying to get your table to play like a tornado.  Just use it as is.  You might experiment with a variety of balls just to see which played best on your table.

Thanks dude,

I'm in Raleigh NC, so im sure there are alot of players around.

I don't play much, but it is fun to kick it around some.  I only paid $100 for this table and I think it was worth it. But I would like to find some men that are a little lower to the table.

I did buy some new balls. I got a:

Bonzini ball
Tornado ball
and the cork ball kit
all from this shop.

What really got me looking into getting longer men was the fact that I can't pin the ball. (But like I said I'm very new so maybe it takes more pratice)

Right now im using a hard slick ball (only one I have as of now) so when I get the new balls it might be a lot better.

Anyone located in Asheville NC?

I will be there this weekend and I know Barleys and the bier garden have tables.
