looks like it needs more than a little TLC, more like a complete rebuild...table surface, side walls (both inside and out) look warped, you can only see one goal pretty good chance the other is bad, missing bearings, already know some men are bad, if the rest of the table is this bad likely a number of bad rods

i wonder if this table was in a flood at one time or what because it looks badly water damaged

also, the person has a 92% rating and that makes me nervous with a power number as low as his

but maybe talking to this person and seeing more detailed pictures would yeild a bargin but I would enter slowly

...and if that blonde was also under heavy use, there's a good chance the rods have peeling plating. My blonds' 2-rods flaked within the first year I owned it, and Tornado wouldn't even honor the warranty. I had to go to Charles MacIntosh to replace them. The new ones (heat-treated) are still going strong with no signs of deterioration after 5 1/2 years.

I don't think that table would have enough good parts to justify $100. I wouldn't even take it for free unless I had a place to discard it easily after I cannibalized what few good parts are on it.

I believe that is the table, IN THE SAME CONDITION, that Dave at Valley originally sent to ITSF Technical Commission President Boris Atha, and ITSF Sports Commission President Klaus Gottesleben, and to ITSF President Farid Lounais for homologation into World Cup Play..  Just a rumor, of course...  ;D

I think this statement from Klaus, who along with Farid, stands to lose the most money from any market penetration by these "antichrist 3bar goal tables" from Tornado, comparable to Tornado's acceptance in Asia, demonstrates the ITSF's true sentiments towards Tornado:

Quote from: Klaus Gottesleben
"If a company is not even able to change their table form a 3-man-goalie to a 1-man-goalie during more than 1 year then they are not worth to be a partner of ITSF. In my opionion the right decision would be to say bye bye to Tornado because they are not a trustful partner to us."

Also explains which guys gnawed those heads off....  8) 8) 8)

Daniel I remember years back there was a batch of yellow tornado men that had a defect (air bubble) that would make the heads sail off if you were slamming a hard shot and stubbed. Funniest thing you ever saw! I used to carry one with me and use it for laughs. I'd ask any ladies foosing with us if they'd like a "little head" and it never failed to slay 'em.
