I have a 1970 (or there about) Rene Pierre coin operated table that I recently picked up cheap. It has a green linoleum tile like playing surface and lighter weight cork balls. It is actually a nice table to play and the coin operation works fine. Other than quite a few beer bottle labels in assorted places it is essentially in very good shape except for the rods and handles. Seems like the plastic handles were giving out and the owners attempted to put some kind epoxy in them to hold them on. The handles eventually disentigrated and were wrapped with duct tape which is now on top of the rock hard blobs of epoxy which has settled into the threads.
It appears I will have to replace the rods and handles and I don't don't where to get either. The men are all in good shape. Anybody have any ideas?
